Sustainable DEvelopment Service Project
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are the 17 goals that the UN uses to track sustainable growth on a global scale. Some include, Zero Hunger, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Education, etc. As a club that spends time brainstorming solutions to pressing global dilemmas regarding equity, peace, and humanitarian issues, we want to close the chasm between the theoretical and the tangible and become agents of change by participating in service activities. Thus, we created the Sustainable Development Service Branch of MUN where we coordinate with local organizations in San Diego and create service opportunities surrounding a particular SDG. See below for our previous activities.
